As you know, PCNs were introduced as part of the NHS’ Long Term Plan, which was published in 2019. They were created to provide patients with proactive, coordinated care, with a strong focus on prevention and personalised care. But, how has this advanced in the last year and a half and what implications has this had to General Practice?
Please click here to watch the webinar with Katie Singer, partner of RBP, Rob Day, principal associate of Mills & Reeve, and Dr Tommy Perkins and Dr Ed Cantelo, from Medics Money who provide an update on the changes that have taken place and guidance for moving forward positively.
Some of the topics covered are the:
• Development of PCNs
• Changes around governance and how they have been implemented
• Operating models that are being adopted by the PCNs
• Pros and cons of a “provider arm” and the creation of “cost sharing groups”
• Considerations when forming a limited company for your PCN
• Live Q&A session
