Cheese and Wine Night Invitation

You are invited to a cheese and wine evening to learn how GP practices could support healthcare in Lwengo, Uganda.

Elsdale Street Surgery with RBP, the medical accountants - formerly of Ramsay Brown and Partners, are hosting a cheese and wine evening on 16th October at 7:30pm at Dr Heather Charles' home, with Cissy Nalukwago who is visiting from Lwengo for a week.

Cissy is leading the project in Uganda. She will give a brief overview of how 6 doctors serve a population of 270,000 people without a single secondary care hospital bed or maternity suite.

We will be starting a conversation how we can help them from East London. This will include introducing a service called Virtual Doctors - www.virtualdoctors.org and plans to build a small community health centre in the district.
